  • Powering the Future: The Samsung Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 with Intel Lunar Lake

The modern student or professional doesn’t just need a laptop—they need a dynamic computing partner that’s intelligent, portable, and packed to the brim with performance. The Samsung Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 is that device, and it stands at the intersection of innovation from Intel, Samsung, and Microsoft as a next-gen Co-pilot+ PC. Designed from the ground up for the AI-first era, this device combines the best of all three worlds: Intel’s cutting-edge Lunar Lake platform, Samsung’s design and ecosystem mastery, and Microsoft’s AI-driven Windows experiences.

Lunar Lake represents Intel’s most radical redesign in years, featuring a hybrid CPU structure, next-gen Xe2 integrated graphics, an ultra-efficient low-power island, and a dedicated 48 TOPS NPU. It’s purpose-built to accelerate local AI workloads, drive battery-smart performance, and deliver seamless multitasking like never before. As a Co-pilot+ PC, the Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 is optimized for the latest AI features in Windows—enabling real-time transcription, smart recall, live captions, and more—right on-device.

Whether you’re handling creative workloads, academic research, or next-level productivity, the Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 doesn’t just keep up with the future—it defines it. Let’s take a deeper look at what makes this device the future of mobile computing.Hybrid Core Brilliance: Performance Meets Efficiency

At the center of Lunar Lake’s muscle lies its re-engineered hybrid CPU architecture—a balanced blend of high-performance P-cores and power-efficient E-cores, optimized to deliver both raw speed and intelligent task management. Running at a max turbo frequency of 4.8GHz, this dual-core strategy ensures that demanding applications like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or AutoCAD get the horsepower they need, while background processes and lightweight tasks are routed to the efficient cores, preserving battery life without compromising responsiveness.

At the heart of the Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 lies a game-changer: the Intel Core Ultra 7 258V processor, part of the revolutionary Lunar Lake architecture. What sets it apart? A jaw-dropping 48 TOPS (Trillions of Operations Per Second) Neural Processing Unit (NPU). This isn’t just jargon—it’s transformative for how your laptop handles AI-powered workloads on a daily basis. In benchmark tests, the NPU achieves up to 4.5x faster AI performance compared to previous-gen chips and nearly 2x the speed of competing integrated NPUs in image classification and on-device processing tasks. Real-world scenarios show tangible benefits: real-time background blur at 1080p in video calls, on-device transcription with sub-100ms latency, and lightning-fast Stable Diffusion image generation in under 3 seconds.

For students, this means blazing through real-time transcription apps, AI-based research tools, or noise cancellation for virtual classes. For professionals, it’s about live background blur during video calls, lightning-fast data classification in Sheets, and even generative AI tools that assist in writing, coding, or content creation—all handled on-device, privately and instantly.Better yet, offloading tasks to the NPU means the CPU and GPU are free for everything else, making multitasking smoother and faster.

CPU + GPU = Rocket Speed Productivity

The Lunar Lake chip in the Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 isn’t just efficient—it’s a performance beast. Benchmarks show impressive leaps in single-core and multi-core performance over previous generations, meaning your apps open faster, your workflows run smoother, and you get more done in less time.Pair that with a powerful integrated Intel Arc 140V GPU built on Xe2 architecture, and the Book5 Pro 360 becomes a creator’s dream. Students in graphic design or architecture can render projects and work with large media files seamlessly. Professionals editing 4K video, manipulating CAD models, or even just juggling 20 Chrome tabs with Figma, Slack, and Google Meet all running—this machine handles it all without breaking a sweat.

And because it’s Intel, performance scales with smart power efficiency, so you don’t have to trade power for battery life.

  • Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 Power-Packed Performance in Compact Size

The ROG Zephyrus series from Asus has always been special. In most cases, gaming laptops do come with state-of-the-art features and specifications. Still, they are usually quite bulky and heavy to carry around. And the Zephyrus series does solve this problem. The laptops broke the stereotypes with a sleek and lightweight design while still packing a powerful performance. The company is back with the 2025 iteration of the Zephyrus series with the launch of Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 and Zephyrus G16.

While the G16 does come with its own set of perks, the ROG Zephyrus G14 packs a compact design and powerful internals. The gaming laptop from Asus comes with a hefty price of Rs. 2,79,990. That said, does it make any sense to go for this gaming machine in 2025? Let’s find out in this review.Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 Laptop Design: Sturdy and Colourful

    • Dimension – 311 x 220 x 18.3mm
    • Weight – 1.57kg
    • Colours – Eclipse Grey

Asus Zephyrus G14 (2025) offers a design similar to that of the previous generation model. But that’s the beauty of this laptop. The design is fairly minimalistic at first glance and screams sturdy build the moment you start using it. The dark grey colour option is both elegant and minimal. At the same time, the aluminium-alloy chassis adds a premium touch as well. Given the price tag, you will be satisfied with the design and build quality of the laptop. The lid also comes with the iconic Slash Lighting, a diagonal array of light on the lid. This is again similar to the previous year’s model, and functionality largely remains the same. You can customise the lighting patterns and animations through the Armoury Crate application, but that’s it. If you are someone who loves to have more complicated patterns or images, then this year’s Strix Scar series could be better suited for you, as it comes with the AniMe Matrix lid.

Once you open the lid, you will be greeted with a large keyboard and trackpad, along with hotkeys at the top. The whole body is based on metal, so there is little to no flex on the keyboard and lid. The hinge also feels sturdy, though it only goes back to 130 degrees, which is a bit limiting. As far as IO ports are concerned, the brand has done a fairly good job providing almost all the necessary ports. You get a 3.5mm audio jack, one USB 4 Type-C port, one USB Type-A port, an HDMI 2.0 FRL port, and a charging port. On the right, you will be greeted with one USB 3.2 Gen USB Type-C port, one USB Type-A port, and a microSD card reader. I liked that the company has kept the Type-C and Type-A ports on both sides, making it easier to access. Moreover, while playing Doom: The Dark Ages, I noticed the colours were accurate, and the high screen refresh rate made the gameplay experience even smoother. That said, the laptop also comes with a 500nits of peak brightness, which is enough for indoor use. However, if you are using the machine outdoors in a cafe or airport, you will face glare due to its glossy display.

Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 Keyboard, Touchpad, Speakers, and Webcam

    • Keyboard – Backlit keyboard
    • Webcam – 1080p IR camera
    • Speakers – Four Speakers with Smart Amp Technology + Dolby Atmos

The Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 features the same backlit keyboard, which was there in the 2024 iteration. However, this is not necessarily a bad thing, as the keyboard is still one of the most comfortable ones when it comes to typing. I love using the keyboard as it provides the right amount of key travel and a slightly cushiony feel, making it easier for longer typing sessions.

It also comes with RGB backlit LEDs, which are bright enough and customisable through the Armoury Crate application. You can select different animations for the backlit, which is a good thing. More importantly, you also get customisable four hotkeys, which you can configure according to your preference. The touchpad is fairly large and offers a smooth experience. There is no wobble during the scrolling experience. You get multi-touch gesture support, but I would have really liked the company to give its edge gestures, which are also present in the usual Zenbook series, to further elevate the experience.

  • Airtel Reportedly Approached Jio, Vodafone Idea (Vi) to Propose a Joint Initiative Against Fraud and Scam

Airtel has reportedly approached Reliance Jio and Vodafone Idea (Vi) to propose a joint initiative against fraud and scams. As per the report, Airtel has informed the government, as well as the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), about approaching the two major telecom service providers. The company reportedly highlighted the rising instances of online scams and fraud in India in the previous year as the reason behind taking a proactive measure. Notably, Airtel recently introduced an artificial intelligence (AI) fraud detection solution for communication platforms and apps.Airtel Reportedly Wants to Take Joint Action Against Online Scams

According to a PTI report, Airtel wrote separate letters to the telecom operators and flagged the exponential rise of cybercrimes. Citing data, it reportedly mentioned that the country registered more than 1.7 million cybercrime complaints in the first nine months of 2024. The cumulative financial losses from these reported crimes are said to be more than Rs. 11,000 crore.

Airtel’s letter to Telecom Secretary Neeraj Mittal and TRAI Chairman Anil Kumar Lahoti reported mentions that the “alarming” rise in the specific types of scams, such as phishing and URL-based scams, has led to the company asking for an industry-wide action against threat actors. “These sophisticated fraud schemes often exploit the gaps in coordination between service providers,” the telecom operator was quoted as saying.Notably, in phishing scams, cybercriminals impersonate people familiar to the victim or members of a credible institution to lure them into revealing sensitive information such as passwords and bank details. Similarly, in URL-based scams, scammers trick individuals into opening and sharing sensitive information with malicious or fraudulent web links that appear to be genuine.

In the letter, Airtel reportedly also mentioned that it approached all telecom service providers in October 2024 to take collaborative action against the issue of unsolicited commercial communications (UCC). That proposal is said to have included actionable items such as mutually sharing details of corporate connections used to make marketing calls in a standardised formatIn May, Airtel announced the implementation of a multi-tier intelligence platform that uses AI to detect malicious websites. When a user tries to open such as website that has already been flagged by the telecom operator’s system, the page loading process in blocked and instead, users are redirected to a page that details the potential threat.

  • Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge First Impressions

Samsung has finally introduced its much-hyped smartphone of the year 2025 — the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge. The company has been teasing the smartphone for quite a few months, and it even showcased it during the MWC 2025 event. The new slim smartphone is finally here and is the slimmest S-series smartphone from the South Korean brand. With a sleek design, a titanium frame, a 200-megapixel camera, and more, the Galaxy S25 Edge sure makes a statement.

The handset is also priced accordingly. The handset comes with a price tag of Rs. 1,09,999 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB option, while the 512GB option can be purchased for Rs. 1,21,999. Interestingly, as part of pre-booking offers, customers who pre-book the device can get the 512GB option at the price of the 256GB model. That said, we finally got our hands on the device. Here’s what you need to know.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is the smartphone that can finally solve the dilemma of S-series users who often say that the phones are a bit bulky to fit in jeans or small hands. The company introduced this precisely to show its design innovation with a simple formula: make it slimmer, add better cameras, and wrap it up in Titanium. It is indeed the slimmest in the S-series, and you will feel it the moment you hold it in your hand. The polished titanium frame and a 5.8mm thickness make it comfortable to hold, even for smaller hands. The phone has two colour options: Titanium Silver and Titanium Jetblack. I got the former for the review, and it sure reminds me of the OG Galaxy Edge series that offered much better design aesthetics compared to the regular S-series phones. The handset is also lightweight, with 163 grams, lighter than the Galaxy S25 Plus. The front panel offers an almost bezel-less display with a notch at the top centre. The right side features volume controls and a power on/off button. The volume controls do feel a bit out of reach for the thumb when using the phone one-handed.

The base panel offers a SIM slot, a USB Type-C port, and a speaker grille, while the top microphone. You also get an IP68 rating, which makes it dust and water-resistant. The Galaxy S25 Edge looks like a well-designed smartphone, though we will discuss more about this in our upcoming review. So, stay tuned.

The Galaxy S25 Edge is loaded with a large 6.7-inch QHD+ Infinity-O Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a resolution of 1440×3120 pixels. The display is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 protection and offers a 120Hz adaptive screen refresh rate. The display looks crips during my initial testing with vibrant colours and deep blacks, which has always been the strength of the Galaxy S-series.The latest smartphone is powered by the same processor, which you will find across the S25 series. The handset is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy, a customised chipset based on a 3nm process. The handset has 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage.

The smartphone runs on the latest Android 15 with One UI 7 on top of it. The company offers seven years of security updates and OS upgrades, aligning with the rest of the S25 series. You also get the Galaxy AI features coupled with Gemini integration, which offers a plethora of features like Now Brief, Now Bar, multimodal AI capabilities, and more.
